Dubai Desert Safari is an off-road activity carried out on sand dunes with specially designed 4×4 vehicles (usually Toyota Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol). The tours are generally offered in several different ways:
🌅 Morning Safari
Starts in the morning, ideal for those who want to try ATV riding and safari.
Activities such as sandboarding and ATV driving are offered.
It is shorter in duration (typically 3-4 hours).
🌇 Evening Safari
The most popular option.
Experience “dune bashing” (driving on sand dunes) in a 4×4 vehicle.
Afterwards, enjoy dinner at a Bedouin camp, along with dance performances, henna painting, and camel rides.
Duration: Typically 6-7 hours.
🌌 Overnight Camping Safari
Includes all the activities of the evening safari, along with an overnight stay in the desert.

ATV and Dune Buggy Experience
ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) riding is an activity especially favored by adventure enthusiasts. It is typically done in the morning or as part of special tours.

Available for single or double riders.
ATVs generally have an engine capacity ranging from 150cc to 400cc.
Some tours also offer the “dune buggy” (sand vehicle) option. These are usually for 2 or 4 people and are equipped with a roll-cage for protection.
Note: A short training session is provided before the ride, but typically, an international driver’s license is not required. However, there may be a minimum age limit of 16-18.
